Moving

First of all, do not write to Mother Nature if you want her to be nice. It has the opposite effect. It not only rained today, but it snowed as well. We did get half of the work done today despite her best tries to drench us. So there Mrs. Nature! In the morning, we have just one more load of stuff to go, most of which is being stored in my old house until we can afford a place together in Craig.
Secondly, my ex is a moron. He was supposed to take the kids today, but didn't even call me until after 12. Then he precedes to tell me that his has stage two lymphoma and is sick and blah, blah, blah. Why would he even think I would feel sorry for him. He left me and the kids for another woman and didn't even look back. I really could care less if he died tomorrow. The time he is supposed to have the kids, he makes up excuses not to. I'm sick of explaining, or trying to explain why to my kids. They are too little to understand and have decided that daddy just doesn't want them.
Third, I really do like the Organo Gold products. My energy level is way up, my pants are getting too big, and I actually feel better. This is only day 4 after starting drinking the tea. This stuff rocks.

The downs in life

I really hate the days that my kids go to their dad's house. I live for my kids and I tend to get a little depressed when they are not with me. It also makes me think about how bad being single sucks. I really don't like being single and I pretty sure a few relationships have turned bad because of long distance. I like to have a guy around.

That is all, and there is no more. :-)

Ugh

Why is it that some guys are such jerks. My bestie has been dating this guy for just over a year and living with him for about six months. He decided to break up with her, waiting until she got home from work at midnight to do so. Not only that, but he "had" to be drunk to talk to her. He then, for three days, told her that there was no way to change it and it was final. Then her "friend" who is also his friend talked to him and he decided that they should call it a break instead of a breakup and that he was going to Texas to get some "help". Now, a week later, they are still in the same house until she can move her stuff, and he is making her cry on a daily basis, scaring the bejesus out of her two year old son, and blaming her for the whole mess.

On a lighter note, my ex is just as f-ing wonderful. He tells me he will watch the kids yesterday while I help my bestie pack. I called him in the morning to make sure he was awake. He sounded perfectly normal. I got there and he is barely able to breathe and is doing a neb treatment. First of all, he said the problem started the night before when he supposedly got a bee sting (which of course he is allergic to) and used his epi pen. Did he go to the ER? No. Did he tell me on the phone he was having problems breathing? No. Instead he scares the crap out of our kids and my bestie's son. Okay, well maybe that wasn't a lighter note.

So any ways, I went to church this morning with my bestie after her ex made her cry. The kids love this church. I actually feel welcome. Now she is at work and hopefully not crying again. I am super excited for Wednesday to get here. I am getting a second tattoo.
It of course is going to represent my two best accomplishments in life thus far. I keep thinking that I get some of the weirdest tattoos. Most people get something other than Precious Moments. But it is definitely who I am.

Thor and Other Stuuff

So, I went to see Thor tonight with my bestie. It was a really good movie until the end. I won't give it away, but it's one of those movies that leave you with a DUH look and wonder what the heck. Kinda like in the movie The Mist. You sit there and think "really?!?" We saw a couple of movie trailers that made us plan our next night out. The new Pirates of the Caribbean, Xmen, and Captain America. They all looked really cool. Is this just the summer of super heroes??
My next thought is that I found a cool new summer food. It's Bratwurst Patties. They are awesome. Tonight for dinner we had those on whole grain white thin buns, steamed veggies, orange parfait, and salad. YUM. For dessert we had triple chocolate cake.
Tomorrow morning it's off to church and then home for a nice slow Sunday. Actually, I doubt that the second part of that wish will come true, but a girl can hope. Tonight however, my kids are refusing to sleep in their room and are hogging my bed. When they finally get to sleep they are moving.

Tired, but not sleepy

Why is it that when you are sick you feel like sleeping all day long and then cannot sleep at night? Why oh why did I decide to sleep today? In a whole five hours I have to get up. I am still wide awake.

I guess the bright side is that my two kids are asleep and I am able to start a new blog. The only point of this blog is to get my ideas, dreams, and thoughts down in writing. It has been a while since I have actually worked on a blog. I think I will also keep track of trips, awesome places to stay, eat, or play and any other random thoughts I have.

A Little History

I grew up in Hayden, lived there until my senior year of high school, moved to Craig, back to Hayden, to Lakewood, and back to Hayden, and eventually ended up back in Craig. I was married for about 4 years. With my now ex husband I had two beautiful kids. William is almost four and Robyn, or as the family calls her Ginny, just turned two. I finally started college last fall. At this point in time I am working on my associates in early childhood education. When that is done, I am probably working on my bachelors in elementary education. My best friend is my girl Sami. We have been best friends since middle school and have no intentions of replacing her.
